PLANE BLADES
These 3/32" thick blades offer a substantial improvement over the inferior chrome-vanadium junk that comes with most new tools. Our high carbon steel blades can be honed easier and sharper. And our Cryogenically treated A2 blades will hold an edge longer. These blades fit the Lie-Nielsen bench planes, too, with a simple frog adjustment. seems the BLOCK PLANE is the workhorse of many cabinet shops.
Although taken for granted, this is a very handy and versatile tool. And,
like the larger bench planes, it responds well to a better blade and a
little TLC . Also available in Cryo A2.

Made for the Stanley #12 and #112 Scraper Planes, these blades are 3/32" thick by 2-7/8" wide and 5" long with a 45o bevel on the cutting edge. Hardened for a balance of long edge life and burr "rollability" (you do have one of our burnishers, don't you?) You finally have a source of blades for the classic #12 and #112 Scraper Planes.
